Service Story
William Bradley, a sawmill worker from Zeehan, enlisted in the A.I.F. on the 9th September, 1917 aged 18 and I month having obtained the written consent of his mother, the whereabouts of his father were unknown at the time. He served with the 12th Battalion. William served in England and France and later received the British War Medal and the Victory Medal. He returned to Australia on the transport ship Takada on the 31st of August 1919 and was discharged on the 3rd October 1919.
